- The New Jersey Conversion Therapy Trial Started Today.: The plaintiffs who are being represented primarily by the Southern Poverty Law Center are suing the organization JONAH and its founders for violating New Jersey’s Consumer Fraud Act by claiming its services could “cure” their homosexuality. Keep an eye out for continued news of this case. It will be an interesting one.
- The Atlantic has an excellent article about the above mentioned trial and conversion/reparative therapy titled, “Can Sexuality Be Changed?”
- The Jewish Week has included Oliver Rosenberg in its “36 Under 36” column. Rosenberg is the founder of the Or Chayim congregation. Or Chaim is ” a year-old congregation that holds monthly Orthodox-style Shabbat services and dinners for LGBTQ Jews and their allies.” Way to go, Oliver!
- A Christian mother of two LGBTQ children writes an article explaining why she is sick of the way fellow religious people treat her LGBTQ people. (Hat Tip: M.D.)
