Event In Solidarity with Jerusalem Open House

I know it is close to the event, but I wanted to share this in case anyone can still make it:

CBST and JQY invite you to join us in a Memorial and Solidarity Asifa/Gathering in response to the senseless hatred in Israel last week. We gather one week after the Jerusalem March for Pride and Tolerance, in which six people were stabbed and one of them, teenager Shira Banki, was murdered at the hands of a Jewish religious extremist. We gather in grief, in outrage, and in hope, raising our Jewish and LGBTQS voices together against violence, racism and homophobia in Israel. Together we will create the peace we want to see in the world.
Thursday, August 6th
6:30-8pm
The LGBT Center, 208 W. 13th Street, NY NY 10011

This event is hosted by CBST and JQY. If you’d like to co-sponsor the event with us, we invite you to do so by making a $180 contribution to an Israeli organization fighting homophobia, racism and violence in Israel, and helping to publicize the event. The program is currently in formation.

With prayers of peace,
